Executive Equity - Board Appointments for Executives

Executive Director, Non-Executive Director, Adviser, Endorser Opportunities

Kylie Hammond in Exclusive Partnership with the Australian Small Scale Offering Board

Being involved with high-growth companies at an early stage can be not only financially rewarding but personally fulfilling as well. Many of the companies listed on the Australian Small Scale Offering Board (ASSOB) have positions open for experienced directors, board members and specialists who can guide them through their development stage.

Executive Equity is designed to be a matching service in a similar vein to other well-known employment matching websites.  The main difference is that professionals who advertise their services on Executive Equity are willing to receive most (if not all) of their salaries or fees in equity or other non-cash payment. If you wish to offer your expertise on this platform you can do so by creating a listing to promote your Board, Non-Executive Director, Interim Management & Advisory Services for a nominal fee of $495 including GST. Kylie Hammond and her team of expert resume writers can personally assist you in developing a profile that will attract the attention of ASSOB listed companies and the private equity community. There are four main categories that you can list your services under:

  • Executive Director - working in the business day-to-day.
  • Non-Executive Director - not working in the business day-to-day.
  • Adviser - usually a professional or someone with unique industry skills.
  • Endorser - someone with some form of noteworthy or celebrity status that could add value to the company.

The Executive Equity board provides a listing of potential executive talent and as such ASSOB or Kylie Hammond does not get involved in negotiations between the parties. It is very important that both parties undertake rigorous due-diligence and refer to their independent advisers and peers for advice prior to entering any formal relationships.

About The Australian Small Scale Offering Board (ASSOB)

The Australian Small Scale Offerings Board was first conceived over 20 years ago by the founding Chairman of ASSOB, Mr Tony Puls. For many years, Tony had been studying the capital markets and was intrigued by the idea of how smaller companies could originate and market their own securities such as shares, bonds, convertible notes and so forth in exchange for capital to grow. As a small business person himself, Tony, from Taree in New South Wales, was very familiar with the Banks general lack of interest in supporting small and emerging companies. It was this frustration that led him to start lobbying the corporate regulators to create some concessions within the Corporations Act to enable smaller companies to raise capital without the extremely high costs associated with going to full disclosure to raise funds and then listing on a stock exchange.   It was back in 1987 when Tony lodged the first official application through the NSW Corporate Affairs Commission to the National Companies and Securities Commission (now ASIC) for the creation of a platform which would allow unlisted companies to easily access private capital. In May 1997, ASIC issued a Class Order exemption to which Tony contributed to the policy concept and ASSOB was formed to operate as a platform to assist small to medium sized enterprises originate, aggregate and trade unlisted securities.

ASSOB is now one of the largest introducers of private investment to early-stage, high-growth companies through its network of accredited Sponsors and works within and relies upon the regulatory environment imposed by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and the Corporations Act 2001.  ASSOB uses many of the techniques used by stock exchange listed companies to enable unlisted companies to access up to $5 million in private capital. It is unique to Australia and is becoming known as one of the most innovative private capital-raising systems in the world.  ASSOB recently launched its Secondary Board which is the first of its kind in the unlisted securities sector in Australia.
